Yoga Heart: Invitation to Share Your Stories

This year we celebrate our 40th anniversary of offering yoga and meditation in the community. In 1984 we received our non-profit status. You—reading this letter—may have never been here or may have come regularly or irregularly over these past 40 years. Some of you are still planning to come for your first time. Welcome!

We are grateful for your presence in—or on the periphery of—our yoga community. We love to receive emails, notes or letters of your experiences and time here or with your meditation or yoga practice at home. This place in the weekly Enews evolves into a space for our shared community. With your written participation, we are richly inspired through one another’s words and shared interwoven experiences. This communion further reveals our already-in-existence interconnected heart.

With the pandemic as background, this “Director’s Letter” began as outreach to fill the void when classes were not available and we each separately faced previously unknown territory. The idea was to maintain inspiration and community in isolation. With Yoga, Meditation and Sound Healing events once again available in person, we are expanding further to provide a wider perspective of community in this weekly Enews.

We look forward to communion with your stories, experiences, input, and suggestions. Kindly email your stories from the heart to us here directly at wyogac@gmail.com

I continue to write about meditation and yoga and will post here intermittently. Meanwhile, we open this space for the welcome expression of the yoga in you, written by you.

Love,
Janaki
